New to archery?

The Lizard Peninsula Bowmen welcome people of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in learning, improving their skills, and enjoying the sport together. Archery is a great way to develop focus, patience, and confidence while being part of a supportive group.

If you're interested in joining or want to learn more about upcoming Have A Go days, visit our Have a Go info page. We're always happy to answer questions and help new archers get started.

Before you can join, you must complete a beginners course. This is a one-off course that teaches you the basics of archery, including safety, technique, and equipment. Once you've completed the course, you can join the club and start shooting with us. To sign up for the beginners course, please contact us through our contact page or attend one of our Have A Go days.
